Spray tanning at home
Trips to the tanning booth at your local salon can be a bit pricey costing anywhere between $20-$60 per tan! I cant imagine forking out that kind of money to keep up with my tan all winter long, I know I would never be able to afford it. So the good news is spray tanning at home can be very affordable if you are serious about your tan even getting a more expensive system will be worth it in the long run, I know mine pretty much paid for itself within 2 months. If you just want color for special occasions there are other options that are also reasonably priced that you can pick up at your local drugstore or beauty supply store.
Test the product before daring to apply to the whole body-When doing any kind of spray tan at home you want to make sure you test the product out on a part of your body that nobody is really going to see. This is to be sure that the color does not turn orange or give you any side effects. You cant always rely on others opinions or turnout of their at home spray tan due to differences in skin pigmentation and overall skin health(plays a major role in any kind of tan and always needs to be considered) DHA plays a huge role in the coloration of the tan as well..the higher the darker the color but remember this is not always the best option for all skin tones
If the test patch goes well apply to whole body- When doing this make sure you are spraying in long even stokes to prevent blotches and runs.
